Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field. You will support residential, commercial, and industrial clients, ensuring power continuity.

We hire at all levels and provide extensive training, plus a safety-first culture. You will travel in a company vehicle, perform preventative maintenance, and document your work for clients across North America.

Qualifications

• Technical school graduation in generators or power systems preferred.
• 3+ years driving with a valid license and clean record.
• Ability to read schematics and operating manuals.
• Willingness to travel and work in the field.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, cleaning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose issues with electrical and mechanical components and document findings.
• Complete reports on work performed and communicate with customers.
• Travel in a company vehicle to local counties and manage vehicle inventory.
