Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field, supporting residential, commercial, and industrial clients to keep their power on.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and troubleshooting, traveling in a company vehicle across local counties, and documenting work while communicating clearly with customers about issues and resolutions.

Qualifications

Graduation from a technical program or equivalent experience in generators, diesel or power gen.
Experience repairing or maintaining generators preferred.
Mechanical aptitude required; strong safety and customer-service mindset.
Must have 3+ years driving with a valid license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field.
Perform preventative maintenance, oil/filter changes, sensor checks, and inspections.
Clean and test units, including load bank and ATS testing.
Identify issues, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, and document findings.
Communicate with customers clearly about issues and resolutions.
Travel in a company vehicle to local counties and manage vehicle inventory.
