Job summary

Compass Minerals in Ogden, UT is seeking a dependable Fueler to support operations across our site. You will operate a fuel/lube truck, refuel and lubricate mobile equipment, perform routine checks, and coordinate with shop staff to keep machines ready for demanding shifts.

The role requires the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, lift up to 50-80 pounds, and maintain accurate daily reports. A valid driver’s license and PC skills (Excel/Word/Outlook/Access) are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Four years of applicable experience, including at least two years at GSL.
• PC-literate with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Access.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate fuel truck and other heavy mobile equipment following safety procedures.
• Fuel and lubricate equipment, perform minor repairs and inspections.
• Communicate with operators and mechanics to troubleshoot.
• Maintain daily fuel reports and log hours/meters.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Ensure equipment is ready and greased on schedule.
