Job summary

Independence Excavating, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Fuel Lube Technician to service a diverse fleet at multiple job sites. You will fuel, grease, top off fluids, and keep records under limited supervision.

The role requires a Class B CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements (or willingness to obtain) and the ability to travel. You must follow safety procedures and work outdoors, sometimes extended hours.

Qualifications

• Must follow all safety practices and procedures.
• Experience fueling/greasing heavy equipment.
• Proficient with Windows and Outlook.
• CDL Class B with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements or willingness to obtain.
• Travel to multiple job sites as needed.
• Lift up to 60 pounds and operate manual/automatic transmissions.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Set up and carry out a fuel route while greasing and topping off fluids on vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports.
• Wet line fueling equipment experience.
• Must be able to travel to various job sites.
• Comply with ALL D.O.T rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
