Job summary

Independence Excavating, Inc. is seeking a Fuel Lube Technician to manage fueling routines, grease vehicles, and keep accurate maintenance records across our diverse equipment fleet. Travel to various job sites and comply with DOT regulations are required.

The role demands readiness to work extended hours outdoors and on multiple shifts. Safety, reliability, and the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions are essential.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety practices and procedures.
• Fueling/Greasing equipment according to maintenance manuals.
• Must be able to use Windows and Outlook.
• Operate vehicles and equipment.
• Lift up to 60 pounds.
• Drive manual and automatic transmissions.
• Work outdoors in varying weather.
• Must be able to work all shifts and weekends.
• Overtime during peak times.
• Class B CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Set up and carry out a fuel route; grease and top off fluids.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports.
• Wet line fueling equipment experience.
• Travel to multiple job sites.
• Comply with DOT rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
