Qualifications

• An aptitude for mechanical diagnosis and repair.
• Demonstrated experience with servicing vehicles and/or heavy machinery.
• The ability to read and follow complex directions in manuals and relay information in reports.

Responsibilities

• Drain oil and replace to manufacturer specifications.
• Top off fluids including brake, power steering and windshield washer fluid.
• Inspect engine block and underbody for leaks or issues.
• Check tire pressure and inflate to spec.
• Install parts such as air filters, oil filters, wipers and batteries.
• Lubricate moving parts and keep engine clean during servicing.
• Diagnose issues and consult with lead mechanics.
• Communicate issues to service writer and assist with detailed service reports.
