Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking a Front-End Development Manager to lead a team delivering customer experiences across iOS and Android web platforms. You will coach, align priorities, and drive high-performing, accessible front-end work.

In this role you partner with Product, Design, Accessibility, and Engineering to shape technical strategy, remove obstacles, and ensure quality and maintainability while scaling the ecommerce platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of developers through feedback, mentorship, hiring, and career development.
• Build a collaborative, accountable team culture with clear priorities, ownership, and expectations.
• Guide the delivery of new features, technical improvements, and platform initiatives while removing obstacles and managing risks.
• Provide technical leadership by helping the team navigate tradeoffs and maintain high standards for quality, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
• Improve engineering practices, team processes, and ways of working.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Accessibility, and Engineering to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Communicate priorities, progress, and risks while connecting engineering work to customer and business goals.
• Contribute to technical strategy and continuous improvement across the front-end organization.
