Job summary

US Mobile is seeking a Lead Frontend Engineer to drive frontend strategy and growth. You will own a pod, hire and mentor engineers, and contribute hands-on to architecture while delivering fast, accessible web and mobile UIs for millions of subscribers.

The role emphasizes shaping frontend direction, collaborating with backend, product, and design, and raising the bar on performance and accessibility. A strong track record in React/TypeScript and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of frontend engineering with leadership or people management experience.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction and drive architecture decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to represent frontend in exec-level discussions.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend tooling.
• Experience with state management and data fetching libraries (Tanstack Query, Redux, Zustand).
• Strong UX/UI sense, accessibility, and responsive design.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a frontend engineering pod, hiring and mentoring engineers.
• Write code and shape architecture as a hands-on leader.
• Shape frontend technical direction, tooling, and roadmap decisions.
• Develop fast, accessible web and mobile UIs used by millions.
• Collaborate with backend, product, and design to deliver data-informed solutions.
• Develop scalable frontend systems to support growth and cross-network features.
