Southern States ToyotaLift is seeking a Field Service Mechanic/Technician to travel within our territory, diagnose, repair, and maintain propane, diesel, and electric forklifts and related equipment. You will receive paid training and a company van with tools, enabling you to service customer sites efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical coursework in electrical, mechanical, or automotive fields is a plus.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions using test equipment.
• Operate forklifts for troubleshooting and QA checks after repairs.
• Dismantle and reassemble engines, transmissions, or hydraulic/electrical components.
• Service forklifts with water, fuel, oils, or lubricants and apply cleaning solvents when needed.
• Align, adjust, repair, or replace worn or broken mechanical components or parts.
• Use hand or power tools and precision measuring tools where needed.
• Ensure completion of work and customer satisfaction.
• Manage multiple customer work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Accurately quote customers for services or parts needed.
