Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• California driver license and clean driving record.
• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain.
• Minimum six months administrative experience.
• Minimum six months nonprofit, social service, and/or logistics experience.
• Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.
• Customer service oriented.
• Basic understanding of service delivery and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Mobile Food Pantry and Mobile Kitchen Unit.
• Safely operate and maintain the Mobile Food Services vehicle(s).
• Prepare, cook, and serve food to high quality and presentation.
• Develop menus that meet organizational goals, budget requirements, and nutritional standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain permits, licenses, inspections, and records.
• Coordinate food purchasing, inventory management, and supplies.
• Monitor food costs and minimize waste through inventory control.
• Plan mobile service schedules, routes, and event logistics.
• Load, transport, and distribute food, equipment, and supplies.
• Recruit, train, supervise volunteers and staff.
• Provide excellent customer service while engaging with community members.
• Maintain records of meals served and pantry distributions.
• Inspect vehicles and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Assist with events, outreach, and emergency food distribution.
