Qualifications

• Experience working on semi-trailers or heavy-duty trailers required.
• Trailer repair and maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, and/or move a maximum of 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT annual inspections and comprehensive safety inspections.
• Diagnose and repair trailer brake and suspension systems.
• Accurately document inspection findings and work performed.

Skills

Diesel mechanical knowledge/experience

Ability to perform DOT trailer inspections

Welding and fabrication skills

Strong understanding of air brake systems
