Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians to join our on-site maintenance team in Lafayette, IN. You will perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, schedule preventive maintenance, and manage repair orders at the customer location.

We value communication, reliability, and the ability to work extended hours, including weekends. Valid driver's license and your own tools are required, with DOT and brake certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to work extended hours including weekends/holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License required; own tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6–8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine, exhaust, tires).
• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open/Close repair orders on company devices.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Complete DOT forms and related documentation promptly.
