Job summary

Cox Fleet, headquartered in Indianapolis, is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II for on-site field service across our nationwide network. Responsibilities include certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and related duties as assigned at customer sites.

The role emphasizes independent work, safety compliance, and strong diagnostics with the ability to handle advanced repairs under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years’ related trailer field experience preferred.
• Pics DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical may be required.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record; DOT and FMCSA compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on trailers and equipment with minimal supervision.
• Document work and upload RO details using company iOS devices and TRAIT app.
