Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across vehicles and trailers. You will perform 12V/24V wiring, secure wiring, and test system functionality in a mobile environment.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on automotive experience, knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to learn new fleet technologies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive repair/electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles, trucks, tractors, and trailers.
• Perform 12V/24V wiring, power, ignition, ground, and diagnostics.
• Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
• Test systems and diagnose installation issues.
• Document installations with photos and service notes.
• Travel to customer sites for mobile installations and projects.
• Maintain safety, quality, and right-first-time installations.
