Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services in Omaha, NE is seeking skilled diesel technicians to diagnose, repair, and service Class 6-8 tractors and trailers. You’ll tackle brakes, electrical, A/C, engine work, and DOT compliance while delivering strong customer service and reliable workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing Commercial Tractor and Trailers.
• Experienced in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record & no suspensions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair Class 6-8 tractors and trailers, including brakes, electrical, hydraulic, A/C, engine, exhaust, systems, components and after-treatment systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections; service and replace parts like tires, hubs, axles, and lift-gates.
• Write work orders and open/close repair orders on a company device for mobile road calls and in-yard work.
• Inspecting tractors and trailers to meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
• Manage service truck inventory and source parts from local vendors.
• Complete inspection reports and DOT documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver strong customer service and report findings to management.
