Prestige Fleet Services in Lenexa (KS) seeks experienced diesel technicians to diagnose, inspect, and repair Class 6-8 tractors and trailers. You will work on brakes, electrical, hydraulics, A/C, engine, exhaust, and other systems, both in the shop and on road calls.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience repairing Commercial Tractor and Trailers.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record and no suspensions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Comfortable using company devices for billing and work orders.
• Experience with annual federal inspections and brake inspections.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair Class 6-8 tractors and trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections; service and replace tires, hubs, axles, and lift-gates.
• Write work orders and open/close repair orders on a company device for mobile road calls and in-yard work.
• Inspect tractors and trailers to meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
• Manage service truck inventory and source parts from local vendors.
• Complete inspection reports and DOT documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver strong customer service and report findings to management.
