Prestige Fleet Services in the United States seeks skilled diesel technicians to service Class 6-8 tractors and trailer work. You’ll diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on fleets, focusing on brakes, electrical, hydraulic and engine systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing Commercial Class 8 Semi-Tractors with occasional trailer work.
• Experience performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record & no suspensions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair Class 6-8 tractors with minimal trailer work.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections; service parts like tires, hubs, axles, and lift-gates.
• Write work orders and open/close repair orders on a company device for mobile road calls and in-yard work.
• Inspect tractors and trailers to meet DOT road safety requirements.
• Manage service truck inventory and source parts from local vendors.
• Complete inspection reports and DOT documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver strong customer service and report findings to management.
