Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform mechanical repair, startup, and customer training on equipment at customer facilities. You will fabricate, modify, and repair components, read blueprints, and ensure safety and quality standards on every job.

Travel up to 85% annually; work with service technicians, engineers, and customers to deliver high-quality project execution while maintaining equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Requires solid mechanical aptitude and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Must understand weld symbols and fabrication processes.
• Experience with MIG/TIG/Stick and flux-core welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical service, installation verification, startup, troubleshooting, repair at customer facilities.
• Fabricate, modify, repair, and rebuild structural steel and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate field service with customers for safe, timely execution.
• Prepare service reports and documentation for project tracking.
• Travel up to 85% annually.
