Job summary

ANDRITZ Separation Inc. is seeking a dedicated Welder to support service and repair work across sites, following Safety requirements and supervisor guidance. The role focuses on welding tasks in various positions and ensuring quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, operate MIG/TIG/fluxcore welders, handle hand tools, and comply with all safety and quality standards while maintaining shop cleanliness and teamwork on customer sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to weldCarbon Steel/Stainless Steel (Mig, Tig, Fluxcore, SMAW)
• Read technical drawings in 2D and 3D versions
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Capable of rigging and handling cranes, forklifts and other lifting equipment

Responsibilities

• Weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Ignite torches or start power supplies and strike arcs by touching electrodes.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt components.
• Read and follow instructions and blueprints precisely.
• Inspect work pieces and measure with tools to ensure spec conformance.
