Job summary

ANDRITZ Schuler North America is seeking a field service technician to assist customers with on-site troubleshooting and repair of Schuler equipment, or assembly and startup of new Schuler presses. You will also provide customer training and establish strong relationships as the point of contact for technical support.

The role requires reading prints, drawings, and schematics, testing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and traveling across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–5 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel in US, Canada, and Mexico; 100% travel.
• Experience reading blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Repair or assemble Schuler products and assemblies.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Provide field reports and service documentation.
• Identify upgrade opportunities and support quotes.
• Travel to customer sites across US, Canada, and Mexico.
• Maintain safety and quality standards.
