Job summary

General Parts Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to restaurant locations, diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including hot-side appliances, refrigeration units, and light HVAC systems. You will operate a company vehicle, deliver prompt service, and minimize restaurant downtime.

The role emphasizes strong customer communication, safety, and the ability to work independently. Competitive pay is offered with overtime and weekend opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen, refrigeration, or HVAC experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid Driver’s License and driving record meets safety standards.
• EPA Certification required for refrigeration techs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• iPad use & familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Travel to restaurant locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment.
• Service hot-side appliances, refrigeration units, and light HVAC systems.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and deliver prompt, reliable service.
• Provide exceptional customer support and communicate clearly with staff; work independently with little supervision.
