Job summary

Koenig Equipment in Indiana is seeking a Mobile Response Service Technician to provide on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for agricultural equipment across local counties. You will travel in a fully equipped service truck, perform advanced diagnostics, and complete repairs to dealer standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Technical school degree in diesel, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment technology, or related field.
2–3 years of experience as a heavy equipment or diesel technician.
Experience diagnosing and repairing agricultural equipment preferred.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and engine systems.
Computer proficiency and familiarity with dealership management systems.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; Class A CDL preferred or willing to obtain.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations in a service truck to diagnose and repair equipment.
Perform on-site diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
Complete repairs accurately and per dealership standards.
Communicate findings and suggest preventative maintenance.
Maintain accurate service and repair documentation.
Coordinate with Service Manager on changes in scope or scheduling.
Ensure parts are documented and billed.
Maintain company vehicle and tools.
Participate in training and dealership development programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
