Job summary

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician for preventative maintenance in the field. The role travels to customer sites to perform maintenance and minor repairs, adhering to provided guidelines and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must have basic tools.
• Able to work after hours and overnight.
• Class B CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment in the field as assigned.
• Lubricates, greases, checks fluid levels and performs minor repairs.
• Plans methods and sequence of repairs; completes required paperwork timely.
• Maintains the service truck and equipment in good working order.
• Attends factory and other training as required by supervisor.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed on all jobs.
