Flagler Technologies Managed Services is seeking a Field Engineer for the Jacksonville, FL area. This hands-on role involves traveling to restaurant locations, performing on-site hardware maintenance, POS systems, and network equipment, and providing remote support when possible.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and replace devices, document work clearly, and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues. The position requires a valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.

Competenze

Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing computers, POS systems, peripherals, and network hardware.
Working knowledge of basic networking and network cabling, including terminating and testing Ethernet cable.
Strong communication skills for non-technical staff and ability to work independently across multiple locations.
Willingness to travel extensively within the Jacksonville area and nearby states.

Mansioni

Drive between restaurant locations and work on site as needed.
Resolve most issues remotely before on-site visits.
Troubleshoot and replace in-store hardware including POS terminals and displays.
Support network connectivity and cable testing in stores.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware issues.
Maintain vehicle inventory and document work with ticket notes.
