Job summary

Cooler Master USA is seeking a technically driven Field Applications Engineer to support our thermal management and liquid cooling solutions across the customer lifecycle. This highly mobile role requires travel to customer sites, primarily in Texas, with some international training at our Asia headquarters.

The position serves as the primary technical liaison between customers, Sales, and Engineering, providing pre-sales consultations, demos, installation support, and post-sales technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical or related field.
• 3–5 years in a Field Applications Engineer or similar customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of thermal management, cooling systems, liquid cooling.
• Experience evaluating, testing, troubleshooting, optimizing customer applications.
• Knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with CAD and thermal simulation tools preferred.
• Understanding of industry standards and best practices in thermal management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities to explain technical concepts.
• Ability to work independently in customer environments while coordinating with internal teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently; data center, manufacturing, industrial environments.
• English and Mandarin bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support during pre- and post-sales.
• Travel regularly to customer sites for demos, installations, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Sales to tailor technical solutions.
• Conduct onsite customer training for product implementation.
• Troubleshoot issues in customer environments and provide timely solutions.
• Act as liaison between customers and Engineering teams for feedback and improvements.
• Support product evaluations, testing, and performance analysis at customer sites.
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for deployments and product introductions.
• Prepare technical docs and visit summaries as required.
