Job summary

Kelvion Products is seeking an Applications Engineer to serve as the key technical and commercial interface from initial enquiry to order acceptance. The role emphasizes collaboration with Sales, R&D, and Production to recommend solution strategies and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will apply heat transfer expertise, use sizing programs, and contribute to pricing decisions while traveling to customer sites and trade shows as required.

Qualifications

• Engineering background or equivalent education, with proven experience in technical roles
• Fundamental thermo-dynamic knowledge
• Good knowledge of ERP and CRM systems and the MS Office suite
• Distinct customer orientation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Very distinctive persuasive power and negotiation skills
• Distinct problem-solving skills
• Systematic way of working
• High degree of flexibility and resiliency
• Valid driver’s license
• Readiness for extensive travel

Responsibilities

• You’re the internal interface between sales, R&D, product development and production from the initial enquiry to acceptance by the customer and are also intensively involved in communication with our customers
• Providing comprehensive technical and commercial support in a timely and professional manner
• Utilize all tools available including sizing programs to correctly match the division’s products to meet or exceed the customer’s requirements
• Actively participating in defining and evaluating target prices
• Analyzing the market development for our products and contribute to the further development of our markets
• Planning and following up visits to customers and trade shows
• Maintaining quotation, customer, and order data in our CRM system
• Adhere to all quality requirements that are inside of the Quality Management system
