Job summary

Cooler Master seeks a Production Engineer to serve as the subject matter expert for CDUs and advanced liquid cooling at the Katy, TX facility. You will transfer new CDU projects into mass production, support assembly and testing, and perform RMA root-cause analysis, while traveling to customer sites as needed for field support.

The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, power electronics, and test equipment, plus excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years in manufacturing/engineering roles for complex electromechanical assemblies.
Experience with CDU/ liquid cooling systems or thermal equipment.
Hands-on with functional test fixtures, DAQ, and data acquisition equipment.
Familiarity with ARM, STM32, PIC microcontrollers and I2C/SPI/UART/USB/CAN protocols.
Proven ability to transfer designs from prototype to mass production.

Responsibilities

Lead CDU technology transfer from prototype to Katy mass production.
Master CDU architecture, electrical design, sensor loops, pump controls, and embedded systems for readiness.
Design and maintain functional test stations, scripts, and validation setups.
Serve as primary technical contact for line electrical failures and sensor issues.
Perform field support and travel to customer facilities as needed.
Create documentation: test protocols, diagnostic trees, RMA workflows.
