Job summary

CBRE's Global Workplace Solutions Local seeks a Mobile Technician to service multiple buildings, performing maintenance, repairs, and ground requests. You will support engineering and facilities teams and work under supervision to deliver dependable service.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, installing and modifying equipment, reviewing work orders, and ensuring code compliance while communicating clearly with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Strong communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Good organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Basic math skills to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other building systems and equipment.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time and materials; manage completion.
• Support energy management to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Communicate clearly with clients, coworkers, and supervisors to exchange information.
• Follow defined procedures under supervision and guidance to deliver output.
