Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Technician to maintain medical, laboratory, and commercial facilities across Dallas and surrounding areas. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, manage work orders, and ensure building systems operate efficiently.

You will work with a three-person mobile team supporting 22 sites, including medical offices, clinics, labs, and parking structures. A valid license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 1-2 years of job-related experience; combination of experience and education considered.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow routines and standards.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Report to the central facility daily to coordinate with the lead technician and plan routes.
• Perform interior/exterior building maintenance including drywall, painting, and touch-ups.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems; replace sinks/toilets and address leaks.
• Conduct light electrical maintenance: troubleshoot circuits, replace ballasts, install lighting.
• Execute work orders, estimate time/materials, and track progress through completion.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance tickets and safety-related requests.
• Inspect installations for code compliance and safety.
• Monitor building systems for energy efficiency and performance.
• Assist others on large projects and support overlapping assignments.
