Job summary

CBRE is hiring a Mobile Engineer to perform on-site maintenance for retail facilities in the Frederick area. You will oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general building systems, using company vehicles, tools, and a branded uniform.

You’ll manage work orders, inventory, and preventive maintenance while complying with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 4–5 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and valid driver's license.
• Physical ability to stoop, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform field duties.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Service Channel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems for the facility.
• Review inspections of HVAC, plumbing and electrical to ensure operation within design specs and client conditions.
• Demonstrate time management and organizational skills when reviewing work orders and estimating time/materials.
• Maintain truck stock inventory to ensure supplies and tools are available.
• Perform preventive maintenance and oversee emergency repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company-issued vehicles in daily work.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex tasks and provide innovative solutions.
• Lead by example and build consensus aligned with CBRE RISE values.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
