Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform facility maintenance on retail sites in the Waco area. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs, with a fully equipped vehicle, tools, fuel card, and branded uniform provided to support performance.

You will manage work orders, review inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and building standards while leveraging MS Office and Service Channel. A valid driver’s license and CFC certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4-5 years of job-related experience; in lieu of a diploma, combination of experience and education considered.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Meet the physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs+.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Apple products; Service Channel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems to keep facilities up to standards.
• Review building inspections (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to ensure operation within design specs.
• Estimate time and materials for repairs; manage work orders and time management.
• Maintain truck stock inventory for supplies and tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and oversee emergency repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles for daily work duties.
• Apply standard principles and procedures to complex tasks and provide solutions.
• Lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values and build consensus.
