Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mobile Operating Engineer to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related systems for the assigned property. The role includes rounds, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs to keep equipment and spaces safe and functional.

Responsibilities include servicing chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, and energy management; inspecting conditions; and coordinating with property management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems in a commercial property setting.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required, apprentice program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC maintenance for the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment including chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, VAV, air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment, valves, thermostats, and related controls to ensure comfort.
• Complete preventive maintenance per C&W standards and perform repairs as needed.
• Monitor energy management and document activities for supervisor.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safe building operations.
• Comply with codes, safety rules, and C&W safety training.
