Job summary

UG2 is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Mobile Building Engineer / Facilities Technician to support a growing portfolio of commercial properties throughout the New York metropolitan area. The Mobile Engineer will travel between locations in a UG2-provided service vehicle to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, minor repairs, emergency response, and general building support.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined with ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Able to communicate clearly with property managers and ownership representatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled property inspections using standardized digital inspection checklists.
• Inspect building exteriors, common areas, roofs and electrical/mechanical spaces.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building equipment.
• Document equipment condition and verify completion of deficiencies.
• Provide detailed service notes and photos for each work order.
