Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Mobile Service Technician in Seattle, WA to deliver high-quality service for Lucid electric vehicles. The role emphasizes HV/LV expertise, customer interaction, and efficient appointment coordination as part of field service operations.

Responsibilities include documenting vehicle interactions, invoicing, and travel to service locations. Eligible candidates possess EPA 609, a valid license, and willingness to complete CPR training post-hire.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician.
• Self-sufficient, highly organized and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrain.
• Customer facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software.
• EPA 609 Certification.
• Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Service Advisor and perform parts department duties including ordering, returns, and inventory management.
• Work directly with clients to provide a high level of customer experience.
• Effectively document all customer vehicle interactions using the appropriate software suite.
• Maintain a knowledge level of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and EV systems.
• Perform walk-around and write-up to identify primary concern through verbal interview and visual assessment.
• Accurately document client concerns for diagnosis and repair.
• Invoice and collect payment.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and update customers on repair status.
• Review appointment schedule to plan travel time and visit duration for mobile services.
• Provide support at Service Center as needed.
• Ability to travel in assigned territory and other service locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
