Gerdau North America in Fargo, ND is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to join our safety-first yard team. You will operate mobile and magnet cranes and shears to move scrap, load and unload trucks and railcars, and prepare material to exact specs.

You must be ready to perform inspections and preventive maintenance, work with a team, and uphold our safety, environmental, and core values. Gerdau supports professional growth through training and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED preferred.

Mobile Equipment Operator | Gerdau

Safety-driven operator with hands-on experience running mobile cranes, magnet cranes, and shears to process and move scrap materials efficiently. Supporting daily yard operations by loading and unloading trucks and railcars, preparing scrap to spec, and maintaining equipment through inspections and preventive maintenance. Must have strong teamwork, problem-solving, and a commitment to Gerdau’s safety, environmental, and core values.
