Mobile Equipment Operator 1 (Finance)

This role operates a knuckleboom, wheel loader, or front-end loader by performing the following duties. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, and other heavy industrial equipment.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, sort, and transport material while following quality, environmental, safety, and production expectations.
• Accurately move material to and from processing equipment, railroad cars, trucks, treating trams, storage bins, and other areas as required.
• Operate levers and pedals to drive trucks and control the movement of lifting apparatus.
• Position forks, lifting platforms, or other devices under, over, or around loads and transport them to designated areas.
• Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering lifting devices.
• Participate in and understand the importance of consistent bin/sku management principles.
• Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management expectations.
• Participate in physical inventories when applicable.
• Assist in moving treatment charges for storage, loading, and unloading.
• Assist in maintenance and service of mobile equipment, including inspections, fueling, safety, and cleaning.
• Train peers in equipment operation.
• Document and report mechanical operation and maintenance needs of equipment.
• Contribute to the company safety program.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
