Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator at our Oldwick Quarry to promote a strong safety culture in an MSHA-regulated aggregate environment. You will operate heavy quarry equipment and support daily production with attention to safety and efficiency.

The role requires the ability to perform pre/post-shift inspections, assist with plant operations, and maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members in varied outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Loader SIZE 980.
• MSHA training a plus but not required.
• Prompt, regular attendance.
• Positive, team-based attitude.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, bulldozers, excavators, haul trucks) to support production.
• Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks (greasing, fluid checks, minor adjustments).
• Monitor and control equipment functions to move materials efficiently.
• Assist with plant operations by controlling material flow and supporting production needs.

Job description

ArcosaAggregates is seeking a safety-focused Mobile Equipment Operator based out of our Oldwick Quarry to support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards working with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment in our East Region. This role is responsible for operating quarry equipment

Day to Day

• Actively promote and support a strong safety culture by following all MSHA/OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Operatevarious typesof heavy equipment, including loaders, bulldozers, excavators, and haul trucks, to support daily production
• Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections to ensure proper operation and performance
• Complete routine maintenance tasks, including greasing, fluid checks, and minor adjustments tomaintainequipment reliability
• Monitor and control equipment functions such as levers, pedals, and attachments (buckets, blades, etc.) to move materials efficiently
• Assistwith plant operations by controlling material flow and supporting production needs
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors, operators, and plant personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Comply withall company procedures, safety rules, and applicable government regulations
• Support housekeeping, cleanup, and general site maintenance tomaintaina safe work environment
• Performadditionalduties as assigned to support overall operations

About You

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Working Conditions: While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.

Compensation

• $22.64 - $26.52 per hour
