Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a mobile equipment technician to perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to keep our fleet safe and available across our U.S. operations.

You will complete preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and document work. The role rewards safety, teamwork, and a hands-on approach in a dynamic field environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mobile equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and document work performed
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and maintain equipment availability
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work area

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Successful candidate must be able to meet all physical requirements of the role

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
