Job summary

Part of nGAGE Talent Limited seeks a Mine Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a large open-pit mining environment. The role oversees heavy mobile equipment fleets, maintenance planning, reliability programs and safety compliance, with accountability for budgets and workforce performance.

The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on leadership across maintenance departments, experience with haul trucks and shovels, and a track record of delivering reliable equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of maintenance experience in heavy mobile equipment or heavy industrial environment.
• 10+ years in a large open-pit mining operation.
• 8+ years in managerial roles overseeing maintenance teams.
• Experience managing heavy mobile equipment fleets (haul trucks and shovels).
• Experience with maintenance workshops, major repairs, servicing, and fleet lifecycle planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee heavy mobile equipment maintenance and fleet reliability.
• Develop maintenance planning, scheduling, forecasting and work management processes.
• Manage maintenance budgets, capital expenditure and lifecycle costs.
• Lead CMMS usage and maintenance controls (e.g., SAP or Ellipse).
• Lead and develop maintenance managers, supervisors and technical staff; ensure safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with mining operations, engineering teams and OEMs; align upkeep with business goals.
