Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater seeks an Electrical Planner for the Stillwater Mine in Nye, MT. The role covers electrical installation, maintenance, and design reviews, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and project delivery.

You will prepare drawings, data sheets, and P&IDs, monitor codes and QA/QC, and promote a strong safety culture while managing projects from design through commissioning. Entry to mid-level experience expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience or familiarity with mining safety rules (MSHA).
• Knowledge of applying modern tech to improve reliability.
• Ability to execute safety and quality control systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installation and maintenance for equipment.
• Prepare and modify drawings, specifications, calculations.
• Monitor compliance with codes, procedures, and standards.
• Promote a safe work environment and safety culture.
• Manage design to commissioning; ensure as-builts are closed.
• Create and review electrical drawings, I/O wiring diagrams, P&IDs.
• Analyze data to plan and design work.
• Ensure QA/QC policies and permits are followed.
• Provide capital equipment requirements and project reports.
