Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in New York, NY is seeking a Mobile Engineering Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across a complex retail and facilities portfolio. You will lead maintenance operations, manage vendors, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize engineering performance and service delivery.

You will build strategic client relationships, anticipate operational needs, and implement solutions that improve facility performance and workplace experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in facilities management, property management, operations, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience with field service operations and deployment logistics.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities.
• Experience driving process standardization and technology adoption across teams.
• Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Work Order & Asset Management and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and work requests across the portfolio.
• Maintain asset validation processes using Excel, Power Query, and Power Pivot to ensure data accuracy.
• Document data flows, transformation logic, and validation rules to maintain system integrity.
• Administer retail contact databases and coordinate monthly updates with stakeholder groups.
• Support operational planning through GIS portfolio mapping and geographic analysis.
• Identify service improvement opportunities and recommend site inspection priorities.
• Provide clear direction to vendors and facilities staff to ensure seamless work execution.
• Manage vendor onboarding and oversee Master Lock Lockbox Program security governance.
• Utilize Maptive and Excel modeling to optimize route assignments and resource allocation.
• Plan multi-state deployments considering union labor requirements and local regulations.
• Drive adoption of new systems and standardized processes across field operations.
• Deploy client-requested projects ensuring alignment with contract requirements.
