Job summary

The position requires installing engines and drives on dyno test carts, basic welding and fabrication, and maintaining engine instrumentation and exhaust components.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year welding and metal fabrication experience required.
• Experience with MIG/TIG welding and metal fabrication required.
• Ability to read basic prints (1 year experience).
• Familiarity with engine and exhaust system instrumentation (1 year).

• Install internal combustion engines, full powertrains, and electric drive motors onto dyno test carts.
• Remove and reassemble external engine components as needed.
• Assist with catalyst aging procedures and dyno cell exhaust system development.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication.
• Support setup and maintenance of engine instrumentation and exhaust components.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1 year experience with welding and metal fabrication
• Experience with welding MIG / TIG, and metal fabrication -Minimum 1 year of experience
• Ability to read basic prints - Minimum 1 year of experience
• Familiarity with engine and exhaust system instrumentation -Minimum 1 year of experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with welding MIG / TIG, and metal fabrication - 3 years of experience.
• Ability to read basic prints - 3 years of experience
• Familiarity with engine and exhaust system instrumentation - 3 years of experience
• State or SAE certifications a plus.
