Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc. seeks an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to maintain fleets and handle on-site service calls for our clients in Greensboro, NC. You will support truck and equipment maintenance at customer locations.

We value tenured, certified technicians and offer a rewarding career with opportunities for growth within the Rush Truck Centers network. CDL preferred but not required; medical card and ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by FMVS.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, & ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment per company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance like fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and inspections.
• Manage service truck inventory and stocks.
• Report to the Service Manager and follow daily duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedule.
• Diagnose and repair using diagnostic equipment and manuals.
