Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Diesel Technician in Tampa, FL. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a clear career path in logistics.

You will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs across heavy and medium-duty equipment while maintaining strong customer relationships. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant certifications, and hands-on experience with diesel systems and repairs.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years or more experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
• Must have minimum tools required to perform duties as outlined in Ryder's Maintenance policy.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to facilitate preventative maintenance and repair estimates; road test vehicles to identify causes of complaints.
• Assist in ensuring quality of repair work and customer satisfaction; coordinate work schedule per customer requirements.
• Perform PMs and vehicle repairs across systems such as A/C, brakes, electrical, and steering; maintain documentation and compliance.
