Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group seeks a mobile service technician to diagnose, inspect, and repair heavy‑duty trucks across our Alabama/Georgia footprint. You’ll work under the Mobile Service Manager, handling repairs, preventive maintenance, and upsell opportunities with a focus on safety and customer service.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years’ diesel truck service and diagnostics experience, mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience.
• Must read and comprehend instructions; have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• DOT Driver Medical certification required.
• Able to operate power and hand tools safely and work a physically demanding shift.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs on trucks.
• Visually inspect and remove parts and attachments; complete warranty repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and electrical/lamp/wiring work; welding and cutting.
• Use power and hand tools safely; operate hoist and testing equipment.
