Job summary

Torque by Ryder is actively seeking a Permanent Full-Time Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Austin, IN. This role involves performing maintenance and repair on heavy/medium duty trucks, with a focus on diagnostics and customer service.

The ideal candidate has extensive diesel repair experience, the ability to work independently on mobile service and a commitment to safety and quality. A company vehicle is provided for mobile technicians where applicable.

Qualifications

• Requires demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and repair abilities across electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy/medium duty trucks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
• Coordinate with customers and drivers to determine issues.
