Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Dallas is seeking a diesel technician/mechanic to deliver top service to customers with roadside assistance needs. You will diagnose and repair maintenance issues on tractor-trailers in all weather conditions, including driving a Penske Road Assist vehicle.

Qualified candidates bring proven experience in tractor-trailer repair and proficiency with repair tools. You will travel to customer locations, perform diagnostics, restock the vehicle, and support in-shop repairs as

Qualifications

• 10+ years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance.
• CDL with air brake certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the district.
• Able to work in non-climate controlled conditions.
• DOT and Penske safety policies adherence.

Responsibilities

• Respond timely to road assist calls and identify parts and warrantable repairs.
• Perform diagnostics and non-road repairs that can be dropped quickly.
• Restock rapid assist vehicle with tools, parts, tires, etc.
• Perform maintenance or repairs to road assist vehicle.
• Assist with in-shop repairs as directed by supervisor.
• Other projects as assigned by supervisor
