Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a diesel technician/mechanic to diagnose and repair truck maintenance issues on the road or at the customer site.

The role entails traveling to customer locations in a Penske Road Assist vehicle equipped with tools and supplies, providing top-tier roadside service in all weather conditions. Qualified applicants will have extensive tractor trailer repair experience, proficiency with repair tools, and a valid CDL with air brake certification preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL license with air brake certification preferred; ability to operate maintenance software.

Aufgaben

• Respond to road assist calls and identify parts and warrantable repairs.
• Perform diagnostics and quick on-site repairs; support in-shop repairs as needed.
• Restock road assist vehicle with tools, parts, tires and supplies.
• Complete maintenance/repairs on road assist vehicles as required.
• Assist with designated in-shop repairs when not on road calls.
• Undertake other projects as assigned by supervisor.
