Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in a mobile field environment, using a company-provided service truck and top-tier tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; 23+ years old.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with urgency and safety in mind.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems; use handheld computers and diagnostic tools.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
