Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking skilled diesel and trailer technicians to join our on-site repair team. You’ll perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, using cutting-edge mobile technology to minimize admin time.

We offer first and second shifts, health/dental/vision plans, 401K, and paid time off. Candidates with a minimum of 3 years in diesel and trailer repair and a valid driver's license are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills
• Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours, and updating work order statuses
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of experience in truck/ trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine, exhaust).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all documentation promptly.
